Dance, dance, otherwise we are lost...

The first VOLCANO FILM NIGHT screening will be Wim Wenders PINA (2011), shot in 3D. The film began as a documentary in collaboration with the extraordinary German dance artist Pina Bausch. Bausch died unexpectedly before shooting began. The dancers of Tanztheater Wuppertal persuaded Wenders to continue with the film as a tribute to Bausch.

The film will be followed with a discussion with guest dance artists Catherine Bennett and Lucy May Constantini.
