Helen Bailey

Helen trained at The Laban Centre and is Artistic Director and Choreographer of Ersatz Dance. She is also a freelance director and choreographer, and has worked with Volcano on Alan Ayckbourn's Time of My Life and Paul Davies's Moments of Madness. Most recently, she directed TalkSexShow. Recent Ersatz projects include Save the Last Dance and Arts Sans Frontières and most recently 24 Acts of Arson performed at the Purcell Rooms. Last year, Helen choreographed, directed and edited the dance film ersatz dancing, which was screened at the Leeds International Film Festival. She is also Senior Lecturer in Dance at De Montfort University, Bedford.
