Hywel Morgan

Hywel is a Welsh speaking Cardiffian, now living in the wilds of South East London with his dog, Tara.

Volcano rescued Hywel from a life of inane urban domesticity in Wales and propelled him into various international warzones as The Poet in The Town That Went Mad. He will long be cursed by Fern for his portrayal of her adulterous husband Glyn in their crippling national tour of Time of My Life, particularly for the toilet floor incident, backstage at the Swansea Grand. Sorry Paul.

Since then, he's been feeding the appetite for international travel that Volcano bred in him, touring to Beijing and Shanghai and winning a Helen Hayes Award with Shared Experience's Mill on the Floss at The Kennedy Center, Washington DC. Last year he returned to the US with Great Expectations for Derby Playhouse in Philadelphia and has recently finished filming a situation comedy pilot for China and a car advert in Barcelona. Just goes to show you can take the boy out of Wales....
