"At Volcano I will exhibit a selection of my sketch books and paintings which reflect the theme.

During the two weeks there will also be constant creative activity. Workshops for school groups and drop in sessions for the general public will be led by myself and fellow artists, including Jenny Chisholm and Pam Mayford.

So far we are planning to give people the opportunity to work together to draw, paint, make collages, a mosaic and lanterns.

The final evening, 14th December, will be a get-together to celebrate the creative work produced. It will also mark the 100th anniversary of the first election in the UK at which (some) women (over 30) and all men over 21 could vote."
