Seagulls

Tue 08 Aug 2017 to Sat 26 Aug 2017

Returning for the Edinburgh Fringe 2017 as part of the British Council Showcase. Also available for UK and international touring.

"Perhaps it’s all rather beyond me, perhaps I’ve gone mad, but I liked the play."

Seagulls is the second show created by Volcano Theatre especially for the company’s new home - the atmospheric Bunker Theatre, deep inside the former Iceland freezer-store in Swansea High Street. An impossibly sad, unreasonably funny and ludicrously inventive version of a temperamental Russian classic.

Volcano's 'astonishing, visceral version' features actors on ropes and a real lake!

"Back from ‪@VolcanoUK's Seagulls. Bold. Audacious. Riveting. Explosive. Exuberant. Watch if you can. Great theatre."
